Recent Summit Grand Sierra Review: "Though almost next door to the airport, this hotel is fantastic. It has a classy interior with plenty of restaurants and bars, as well as other typical casino/hotel fair like shops, club, and pool. Unlike some places, this wasn't overly crowded, nor was it too quiet, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The inclusion of a Starbucks was a bonus. There is also an excursion center inside the main foyer for those wanting to plan adventures and fun. I said "wow" to myself when I entered the room. It was large, with a king size bed, full-length mirror, large desk, plasma TV, plenty of closet space, a fridge, a microwave, and a lounge area big enough to entertain 5 or 6 guests very comfortably. The bathroom was floor to ceiling marble with a large shower, plenty of mirrors, and a small LCD television. Though the room overlooked the airport and a major highway (in addition to the city of Reno, and surrounding mountains), I never heard one aircraft or other disturbing noise during my stay. I only tried two of the restaurants in the hotel; Fin Fish and the Grand Sierra cafe. You certainly get what you pay for with the latter serving inexpensive diner-style food. Fin Fish, with it's much higher prices, was a more refined experience with excellent food and service; highly recommended. Overall, I was extremely happy with this hotel and the staff (who were always happy to help), and I wouldn't hesitate in booking a room there should I ever visit Reno again."

    Fin Fish - Inventive seafood from Chef Charlie Palmer. Features a raw bar, fresh seafood, and shellfish. Sea-foam blue, sand, and sage hues create a beachside ambience.


    Crystal Lounge - In the center of the casino's restaurant row. Menu includes wine, liquor, a variety of beers, and appetizers. Featuring entertainment from Chris Costa, the man of 1,000 voices.


    Johnny Rockets - The lively wait staff at Johnny Rockets are known for belting out a few songs while dishing up cheeseburgers, chili fries, melts, and malteds.
