Recent Summit Review: "I got one of the deals through hotels.com on this room and think it was great for the money it cost.
The room was large and even included a couch with a hideaway bed in it. The king bed was very comfy. We ordered room service two different times and it was quick and delicious both times and they even include the tip in the cost so you don't have to figure it out. The room didn't have the ac or fridge on when we first came in but that was to save on electricity a word of warning the fridge gets too cold if you set it at the max cooling. My food froze solid when I did that so maybe only a 3 or a 4 on the temp scale would be ideal to use. the microwave and coffee maker worked perfectly as well. The view was really nice, the mountains look really pretty at sunrise from up where we were (floor 20). The darkness of the room colors with the shades pulled shut allows you to block out the light completely if you don't want to wake up at sunrise though.
I think the only complaint I can think of it they shower could have been built better. When you turn on the water it goes out of the bottom gap in the glass. It can get very slippery on the marble floor. The easy fix is to throw and extra towel down onto the ground. I must say that the tv in the bathroom so you could watch the news while taking a morning shower was great.
I almost opened the Voss water thinking it was part of the room, it's not so make sure to look at the cap before you open it or you could be paying around six bucks for that bottle of water.
The casino was nice although I only gambled one dollar. I went to Reno so I could go to Denio (about 5 hrs away) to go opal mining. I didn't see that listed in the adventures listed around the hotel."

| No sweetener or creamer with coffee fixings in room. 1 of 3 room keys did not work. No printed list of activities, restaurant schedules, etc given at checkin.
Big problem - hotel guests not given restaurant seating priority in restaurants - 40 min wait in buffet line Sunday night where 90% of people in line were 'locals' getting deeply discounted price while we as hotel guests paid 'full freight'! Unacceptable!!! |

| I paid extra to get a suite, I was shocked when I arrived in my room and it was not large and in no way was a suite. I called the front desk and ask about it and was told it was called a suite because it had a small refrigerator and a microwave. Was not with the extra $ to upgrade. |

| The only thing I can say is to keep your word, Either they have what the customer is asking for or they don't. If they don't just say so to keep the good reputation. |

| Thuis is for all the travelers that try to stay fit and not gain 10 pounds every time they go on the road. You never know what you are going to get when a hotel says it has a gym or a "fitness center". This hotel had equipment that was top of the line in the 1980's but had a little of everything so I was able to not just get a little swet going but get a full blown work out in while I was there. |

| The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The check-in experience was friendly, courteous and swift. The view was gorgeous and the room was beautiful. Other than the 45 minute to 1 hour wait for the restaurant lines downstairs, it was overall, a nice getaway. I would recommend this hotel! |

| Ultra slow valet parking and check-in. Stayed in Grand Suite; no chair for desk, corners of night stands and desk "taped up" slow internet, toilet roll holder broke off wall, gang signs "scratched" into walls in elevator lobby, picture on television not clear/crisp. Nowhere close to walking distance from anything downtown, surrounded by industrial parks and "looney" farm.
Positive note: Very large friendly area for children on bottom floor. |

| I was disappointed by the description of the room as a "Grand Suite". I received a very dark room with a King size bed and an uncomfortable sofa bed. It was not spacious, there was no separate seating area. It was literally a sofa bed in a standard room. The hallways and the rooms are tooooo dark. Who paints walls black? My goodness! |

| we were very pleased with the stay, Our room did not have a door sign to put out for privacy or the maid...and she came to our door twice and attempted to get in and we had no way to post outside ...so maybe should make sure all rooms have the door signs...it was a nice get away and I am sure we will be back. Oh and no place for the toilet paper roll other than the floor or back of toilet...that was very odd!!! |
