We were upgraded to a penthouse suite. It was spacious and a fantastic stay! We will definitely stay there next year when we return to the air races!

The Siena is conveniently located on the Truckee River in the heart of Reno, close to the white water kayak park, Reno Aces ballpark, restaurants, and casinos. While parts of the hotel are a bit worn, the staff is friendly and helpful and the room rates reasonable.

The room met or exceeded all of my expectations. The only "complaint" I can offer is that the room was "small" on space. The king size bed filled the space allocated for it, leaving very little "walk-around" space. The space in the bathroom was minimal, but adequate! Cleanliness, hospitality, amenities and service were all first class. I recommend it, but don't expect a spacious room.

This is a nicer hotel in Reno that is just off the strip so you dont get too much noise. Youw ill not stay here because of the casino, sports book or bars. You stay here because its affordable, very comfortable and quieter. The entrance is very confusing, took a while to find out where to check in. The TV's in the bar areas were either old or broken, I do not recommend going there for a game. No table games either, all slots.

One of the few hotels in Reno that allowed us to book one night during the Labor Day weekend. Overall the experience was ok. It looks like the hotel was recently renovated except for the old school air conditioner and cheap looking faucet set in the bathroom. Hotel is located on the outskirts of downtown reno near some rundown motels. I would recommend driving to other casinos and NOT walking at night as the interesting characters seem to come out then. I would book another room with Siena hotel only if the other hotels in the area are booked.

I'm not big on the massive hotel/casino pairs you find in downtown Reno. The Siena is great because it's a smaller "boutique" property that sits on the south bank of the Truckee River. Thus it's close to the scenic riverwalk, and the new Ace's minor league ball park (also a must see). The Siena is a bargain in my opinion, with very comfortable rooms and upgraded linens like those found in hotels costing twice as much.

The room was big enough for a q2ueen size bed and about 2' on each side. It was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen.

Just stayed here with my sisters for a birthday celebration. Overall I was pleased with the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. We got several really good coupons when we checked in -- some free drink coupons, a "get $40 when you play $20" for the casino, and a $15 credit in the cafe, where we had a really delicious breakfast. Food was great, and coffee was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Like a lot of businesses right now, I got the feeling that this hotel is struggling a bit in these hard times, and they are trying really hard to attract guests and give them a good experience. I would recommend this hotel.
