| Hotel was conveniently located right across from the parking garage of the Circus Circus. Pretty much, you get what you pay for. i paid for a room. I got that. At half the price of a casino room, the room which I used only to sleep in, was probably worth the money. The room as clean but outdated. On entering I found that the heater did not work. It was quickly fixed. My friends' room was without towels, which was also remedied as soon as we complained. My room was missing the TV remote.Such items should have been noticed by the cleaning staff and fixed before someone was assigned to the rooms. |

| Very accommodating and friendly staff. Pleasantly surprised the room had a hair dryer and coffee maker - with coffee and condiments! Lobby could use a little sprucing up though. Clean, quiet room - and we were next to the stairs and elevator. |

| At first we thought that the hotel would be very hard to find but when we got there, the hotel was right in the downtown. We liked the location since we could easily go in and out of the casino and the rates way cheaper than the casions. |

| The Showboat Inn is really a basic Knight's Inn, a 4-story outside access motel with windows that open. I prefer this type over the fancier ones where you can't see your car from the door, but it's definitely not "fancy". Basic rooms in a corner of downtown Reno that has some hobos roaming around. But that's fine with me - it was very affordable and we didn't have to drag our luggage a 1/2 mile to our room in some sorta "tower". |

| This motel is conveniently located, right across from circus circus, but that is about all it has going for it. Check in was easy, and the manager was nice. But beyond that, it was a disappointment. The beds are really lumpy and years beyond their prime and the linens are a bit questionable. The rooms are extremely noisy to the outside world, which include constant sirens from emergency vehicles, and other guests who stand on the balcony, displaying their 'wares' for sale. There is cable, but no tv remote, and free internet. So that was a plus. I would only recommend this place if you need a cheap place to park your bags while you are out and about the city. If you plan to be in the room for any amount of time, stay at one of the bigger hotels, not a motel. |
