| The hotel/casino is obviously suffering from econmic downturn. But staying here allows access to any of the other casinos and the amenities of Heavenly Village. |

| The staff at the Horizon were wonderful. From check-in to valet service to maid service in the room - they were all very personable and did a very good job.
My only complaint about the hotel is the lack of a coffee shop, or at least a snack bar. There was only a Starbucks, which was open only from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. |

| Older hotel in need of paint and minor repairs in room. Good accommodations for the low price. Decent views although I did not have a lake view. Buffet opened only Thursday-Sunday (I was there on a Wednesday), but walking distance to other hotels.

| Having read positive and many negative reviews in this website, I was not sure what to expect. The Horizon was a really nice place! If you want a large active Casino, just go next door! The Casino is not the draw here. Watched the Live Shoe which was terrific and ate a few meals in the Four Seasons Restaurant which were all good. I would stay here again in a minute! |

| Our stay at the Horizon was very nice. Hotel staff was great and very helpful. Our first night air conditioning not working so well, next day we got our room changed, no problem. Great big pool and fun arcade for the kids. Close proximity to walking to shopping and dining. Overall we had a great time. We would stay their again. |

| The hotel clerk was vey nice & said he put us in a better room than we booked. The room was fine but it had two full size beds and we are a couple and especially when we take time to go somewhere together, we'd like to sleep together, comfortably and not cramped. |

| Overall, the hotel was ok for the price. But only because the price was decent. The casino floor was sparce, almost empty- very few games and people. The hotel has seen it's better days. The linens were old and almost ready for the Salvation Army. I have spent nights on beds more comfortable in the Marines. The rooms were furnished with very old, motel 6 type furnishings and decorations. No style whatsoever. |
