Recent Horizon Casino Resort Review: "Hey, I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. This is a great hotel! My room had a view of the pool and Lake Tahoe (Alpine Tower), try to find that at this rate anywhere in S. Tahoe. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't need room service one morning (why change the sheets everydayr) but the maid saw me in the corridor and wanted to know if I needed any towels or anything else on her cart. Thats good service in my book... The casino is not the most up to date but the waitress kept the drinks flowing all night long.....Just sit down at the table and she's there. Oh, by the way I went across the street to one of the "new" casino's sat down to play some blackjack, the waitress took my order....she never came back!! We went back to the Horizon and had a great time..... If your the real picky type and little things bother you go someplace else.....If you want great value for your money this is the place!"
