Recent Holiday Express Reno Review: "We booked this relatively new hotel at the last minute to go to the Chicken Wing cook-off in downtown Reno over the 4th of July weekend. Breakfast was fine (scrambled eggs from, I think, a powdered mix...passable), waffles, apples & bananas, yogurt, boiled eggs, instant oatmeal packets, and all the usual pastries, toast, coffee, tea, etc. Really not  bad, and it was free, so no complaints. The fresh hot cookies provided daily from 4 to 7 PM were wonderful. Room was nice, flat screen HD TV, fridge, coffeemaker; no tub, but walk-in shower. Good King-sized bed with nice linens, which is a biggy for me. We had a corner room, away from the elevators, so there was very little noise at night. And you're far enough away from other hotels and businesses that traffic noise was never a problem. We would stay here again if driving. The hotel said they do provide a shuttle to downtown, starting at 4PM."
