Recent Hawthorn Wyndham Airport Review: "Not the best of areas, but not someplace I would be uncomfortable being outside at night. No attractions close by. An older building with a recent facelift, very clean and well maintained but some of the age still showed from under the paint Really nice breakfast, a great way to start out a day. A good breakfast can make a difference in your budget for meals the rest of the day. We happened to be next to the laundry room and there were machines running all night. Not bad though, they did not affect our sleep. Being close to the elevator more than made up for it. We did sleep very well. The beds get high marks and the number of outlets in the room gets bonus points. With my medical appliances, cell phone and computer and camera chargers and all my paraphernalia, this was a big plus. so even if I subtract for location, and an older building with the bonus points I would still give it a 5 star plus."
