Recent Cal Neva Resort Review: "This was our second stay and we will stay again. It is great for parents with young children because of the arcade being in sight of the slot machines. They have around 20 machines not a lot but if you have kids it is perfect. If you are younger you will want to go down the street to the bigger hotels but I still recommend staying at Cal Neva over other hotels in the area. Views out of all rooms are AMAZING and the lake is walking distance. Also, there are a lot of good restaurants around town and very friendly people. The in hotel restaurant was also good. They did have a problem with hot water this stay but without us even asking they offered us a voucher for breakfast to cover the inconvenience. Staff was friendly, room was clean, heater worked great, all around great stay for a great price."
