Recent Harveys Casino Review: "Harveys Hotel and Casino in South Lake Tahoe is a great place to stay. The room and bathroom were clean, the beds and pillows comfortable, and there were coin washers and dryers on the floor. I don't know if they were on every floor. The only thing I missed was not having a safe in the room, though you can have valuables locked up in a safe in a room off behind the check in desk. We got a grat summer rate which helped to make this a very affordable vacation. The location is close to Heavenly village and gondola and there is a tunnel that goes under the road that takes you over to Harrahs for even more dinning options and is convenient should the weather be unhospitable. We visited in August and the weather was perfect. We hiked, took the dinner cruise on the Tahoe Queen paddle boat, hiked, and went horseback riding. Terrifiic views of the lake from the surrounding mountains."
